Stop Falsely Claiming Your Identity! Super Sus Pro Player's Tested Guide – Useful for Both Crewmates and Impostors!
Hey everyone, I've been playing Super Sus for over half a year. From getting tricked by Impostors left and right at first to being able to steadily carry the team now, I've stumbled through a lot of pitfalls. Today, I'm here to share some practical tips to help you rank up easily.
Don't falsely claim your identity, and don't act alone! This is my most important reminder for you all. Whether you're a Crewmate or an Impostor, rushing off alone at the start will most likely end badly. Crewmates who act alone are easy targets for Impostors to eliminate, and no one will be able to vouch for you. For Impostors, eliminating someone while alone can easily get you caught on camera or spotted by passing players.

When I first started playing, I always loved dashing to remote Task Locations alone. In the end, I either got eliminated by Impostors or voted out as one – a bloody lesson!
For Crewmates, the core gameplay boils down to two things: complete tasks and find flaws. Prioritize Emergency Tasks and those in visible locations, such as the medical checkup in the Med Bay and wiring in the Electrical Room. These tasks quickly fill the progress bar, which is key to the Crewmates' victory. Additionally, doing tasks in visible spots allows more people to see you, reducing the chance of being suspected.
Moreover, always stay observant. Keep an eye on who stands idle at Task Locations without the progress bar moving, or who suddenly emerges near Vents – these are almost always telltale signs of an Impostor. If you want to unlock advanced Crewmate roles like Seer or Doctor later but find grinding for coins too slow, you can use COCODP to help. If you have plenty of time, just spend more hours completing tasks.
If you're an Impostor, the essence is to "pretend" and "hide" – don't fight head-on! There's no rush to eliminate someone. At the start, stick with the group, pretend to do tasks to get familiar with everyone – like pressing a few buttons at Task Locations or standing by the scanner to put on a show – to lower everyone's guard. Choose Camera Blind Spots like the Storage Room or corridor corners to eliminate targets, then quickly escape through Vents to fabricate an alibi. During discussions, pinpoint the Crewmates' loopholes, such as "He said he was in the Lab the whole time, but I never saw him there," to guide everyone into voting for the wrong person.
Here are a few advanced tips that work for both factions. First, memorize who's with whom at the start. If someone gets eliminated later, you can quickly rule out innocent players – this method is much more reliable than guessing blindly. Second, don't call Emergency Meetings randomly. Without evidence, it will only waste time and leave you vulnerable to the Impostor turning the tables on you. Third, familiarize yourself with the map – know the connecting positions of each Vent and the distribution of Task Locations. Whether you're a Crewmate evading an Impostor or an Impostor launching an ambush and escaping, it will make things much smoother.
Super Sus is a game that tests your mindset and a few small tricks. You don't need to pursue fancy mechanics. As long as you're familiar with character skills and remember these little details, you'll gradually rank up. If you find grinding for resources too time-consuming, you can use COCODP to supplement – it really saves trouble, letting you unlock your favorite characters and skins without spending hours grinding.
Finally, I hope my methods can truly help you. May you all get your desired roles every game, carry every match, and reach Legend rank soon!
