How heaters work and how to keep air heaters performing well
Using an alternating magnetic field, a primary coil with more turns and a
secondary coil with fewer turns are mounted on the same iron core. In this way,
the voltage ratio of input and output is equal to the ratio of coil turns, while
the energy remains unchanged. Therefore, the secondary coil will generate a
large current under low voltage conditions, thereby generating a large amount of
heat for heating.
How to keep the air heater performing well?
We start from three aspects to achieve the goal, specifically:
Increasing the gas inlet flow rate of the air heater can strengthen the
convection heat transfer of the air heater, thereby reducing the surface
temperature of the electric heating element in the air heater, which not only
helps to prolong the service life of the electric heating element of the air
heater, but also reduces the air Heat dissipation loss of the heater, but pay
attention to the speed not too large, but it will have the opposite effect.
Change the surface load with other conditions unchanged. But it should be
noted that if the surface load is too large, the wall temperature of the
electric heating element will increase, which will reduce the service life of
the electric heating element in the air heater. If the surface load is too
small, the wall temperature will be too low, but it will decrease The heat
exchange effect of the air heater, so the selection should be appropriate.
Raising the final temperature of the air in the air heater has a certain
effect, but it cannot be increased too much, because when the final temperature
is increased too much, the temperature of the surface of the electric heating
element will also be greatly increased, making the general electric heating
element unbearable. Consider the limitation of heat resistance of electric
heating element materials in air heaters.
