Jiangsu Rongtuo Laboratory Equipment Co., Ltd. (Rongtuo Brand) started its journey in 2002. It is an enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, processing and sales of laboratory equipment. The company established Shanghai Dongtuo Laboratory Equipment Co., Ltd. in Pudong New Area, Shanghai in 2002, making it one of the early enterprises to enter the laboratory furniture manufacturing sector. In its initial stage, it mainly focused on the processing, production and sales of wooden laboratory furniture. After years of development, by 2008, it had grown into a manufacturing enterprise with a preliminary systematic operation capacity including independent design.

During its development, the company has successively obtained certifications of ISO9001 International Quality Management System, ISO14025 International Environmental Management System and International Occupational Health Management System, and won honors such as "Green Furniture" and "Environmental Label Certified Product". As a member of the US SEFA Association, the company holds a number of design patents and utility model patents, and owns independent R&D and production bases, processing bases as well as advanced imported production equipment.

In 2009, to meet the demand brought by business expansion, the company built a processing and production base in Huangqiao Industrial Park, Taixing, Jiangsu. The base features a standardized production plant covering 12,500 square meters. Advanced foreign production equipment and instruments were introduced, and an all-steel product workshop was added, which greatly boosted production capacity. By 2015, its business scope had expanded to special laboratory furniture (benches and cabinets), fume hoods and ventilation systems. Thanks to the continuous dedication and hard work of all Dongtuo staff, "Rongtuo" became a registered trademark in the laboratory furniture industry, with more design patents and utility model patents obtained.

To adapt to market changes and the demand for turnkey construction in the laboratory furniture industry, the company successfully obtained Class III Professional Contracting Qualification for Building Electromechanical Installation Projects in 2016 and Class II Professional Contracting Qualification for Building Decoration Projects in 2017. Since 2007, the company has maintained an annual output value of approximately 120 million yuan. In early 2018, fully automatic assembly line spraying equipment was newly installed to fully replace the original semi-automatic spraying line, achieving a qualitative improvement in the spraying process.
